About

Ana María was born in Bogotá, Colombia.

She studied Design and Fine Arts at Los Andes University and a MA in Childrens Book Illustration at Goldsmiths University of London. Her profession has allowed her to transform her love for images and storytelling into a great passion for design and illustration, where she constructs universes along with their characters and narratives. She uses illustration to understand the world around her, which is why her work is usually focused on childhood, involving themes such as imagination, emotional exploration and everyday life.
